It’s that time of year again, the Gluten Free and Allergen Friendly Expo is coming to Massachusetts!
As an official blogger, I receive a free entry and have the opportunity to tell you about all the brands and going ons in case you can’t make it. BUT, even better, I have two pairs of tickets to give away! Yep, wayyyyy down at the bottom of this post.
Until the expo, here’s all the info you need to know!
Saturday and Sunday, July 23 & 24, 2016
Worcester, MA! Or more specifically, the North Exhibit Hall at the DCU Center on 50 Foster Street.
What is it?
An expo filled with vendors, classes, and some awesome people. You’ll see and sample from some vendors that you already know, such as Schär, and maybe some newer brands, such as Celiac Kids Connection and Bread Empire. I love learning more about each company, and there’s plenty of time to ask each vendor all your questions. You can find a whole list of vendors on the GFAF website!
There are also 3 classes you can attend each day. Saturdays talks will cover “How to Convert Recipes to Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free” with Amy Fothergrill, “Tips of the Trade During the Gluten Free Age” with Robert Landolphi, and “Guide to Gluten Free Shopping” with Julie Hersey. Basically, all talks on how to cook better. I love these because I always learn a trick or two about blending gluten free flours together!
AND, on Sunday you’ll hear about “Healthy GF Kitchen, Healthy You” by Beth Hilson, “Leaky Gut and Chiropractic Care: The Connection” by Jaclyn Debs, and “Essential Oils for Digestive Wellness” by Jenna Drew.” This day is definitely focused a bit more on overall wellness, which may be right up your alley.
Honestly, it was this video below that pumped me up about attending last year!
Why should I go?
Because I’ll be there! If my description above didn’t convince you, 2014’s Sweepstakes’ winner put it best.
Had a great time at the Gluten Free & Allergy expo today! Will bring the whole family next year. Thank you for posting the raffle for a free ticket! – Donna T.
Now, all that’s left is to figure out how many people you can pack in your car!
How do I win free tickets?!
I knew this would be your real question. Check out the sweepstakes entry below. However, whether you win or not, the expo is an amazing event to attend, and you can also purchase tickets on their website! Hint: Use the code ADVANCE for 20% off your tickets through 7/22.
This giveaway has ended.
That’s about it from here, I cannot wait to see y’all at the expo!
