Top 5 Gluten Free Recipes of 2015

Are y’all ready for 2016?! Well, it’s here! I have tons of travel plans, which means Travel Tuesdays should be running all year long! While I’m not one to fret about the past that doesn’t mean it’s not fun to reminisce. And, a lot changes in a year. It’s hard to imagine that less than a year ago no one had ever done the “Whip/Nae Nae” dance.

2015 took me to Europe. And 2016 is taking me to Oceania.

So without further ado, I’m introducing the Top 5 Recipes of 2015 as voted by your comments! The list is filled with gluten free and vegan treats. And, there’s a link to every recipe, so your family and friends can enjoy them too. 🙂

#5: DIY Vampire Cookies for Halloween

This super fun treat is one of my favorites too! I personally like the video as much as the full post, so be sure to give that a look too. It’s especially helpful when you’re making these yourself because as it is said “if a picture is worth a thousand words than a video is worth a million.”

#4: Chocolate Chip Quinoa Blondies (GF, DF)

This is a family classic. It was a hit for our family this year because my sister first made these right after we had 3 new celiac diagnoses. While the quinoa flour may smell funny until it’s cooked, this treat is as rich and decadent as any gluten-filled blondie you’ll find. This is the only recipe that’s not vegan that made the top 5!

#3: Mustard Roasted Potatoes (GF, V)

This is a classic, and very simple side dish. It’s easy to whip up and perfectly accompanies so many entrées. Plus, with only a few ingredients, there is quite the depth of flavor from the mustard you choose. Definitely one to keep in the books! Plus, add some meat and veggies to the leftovers and you have lunch for the week. 🙂

#2: Garlic and Lemon Roasted Cauliflower (GF, V)

I think y’all liked this post because it’s named “How to Enjoy Cauliflower.” Nonetheless, it’s my favorite way to prepare cauliflower, so be sure to give it a try, especially when you’re introducing someone to cauliflower for the first time!

#1: Super Bowl Cookies (GF, DF, EF)

While I’m a big fan of football, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t also love the advertisements and food that accompanied the Super Bowl. These cookies were fun to make, AND I’m glad y’all loved them too!

My list would have been slightly different to include Emoji Cupcakes, Mayo Free Tri-Colored Potato Salad, and Chocolate Crinkle Cookies (my new favorite!).
