Happy Travel Tuesday!
Want to meet all your favorite Disney pals, while dining in a magical spot?! Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Today we’re headed across the United States to the most magical place on Earth- Disneyland. It feels like just yesterday that I ran the Inaugural Avengers Half Marathon. And, right after I crossed that finish line, my dad and I headed over to our reservation at Goofy’s Kitchen. It was the perfect spot, right next to the finish!

Character breakfasts will always have one flaw for those dining with food allergies. There is no way to be certain that traces of foods from past tables don’t reach your table as the characters move around the room. This is something you will have to contemplate as a family.

However, if you decide to dine at Goofy’s Kitchen, Disney does a great job for those with food allergies. Similar to Chef Mickey’s in Disney World, you will NOT eat at the buffet where everyone else dines. (That would be a cross-contact nightmare!) A chef will come out to your table, meet with you, and then prepare your meal for you.

Now, the food at Goofy’s Kitchen is much better than Chef Mickey’s because they are right next door to Steakhouse 55. Therefore, you’ll have the option to receive a beautifully prepared cut of meat. And, let me tell you, this was the perfect meal after running 13.1 miles.

Of course, character breakfasts come at a set price, so be sure to ask for all the food you want! The only other downside was that it took awhile to prepare my meal. (Realize that everyone else can just watch up to the buffet!) However, as long as your party is patient, this should be okay. Plus, they’ll have all the characters to keep them distracted.
This was certainly one of my favorite spots. If you have any more questions about this dining experience, booking reservations, or anything else, please feel free to reach out to me in the comments OR on my Contact Me page!
Happy Travels, and hope you continue to have a wonderful week!

I am very excited to head to Disney and be able to eat some amazing food. I’ve heard such great things about eating gluten-free at Disney!
I’ve had really good experiences! My highlight was when I received a hash brown omelette for breakfast! (I also have an egg allergy, so that was a cool modification.) I also blogged about my only bad experience as well. Let me know if you have any questions! (I don’t always get all my restaurant reviews up in a timely fashion.) We’re going back again in December, and I can’t wait!
