The Finale!

Hi, Everyone!

If you’ve been following on Twitter (@WanderlustGF), you know that I’ve been road-tripping despite my lack of blog updates. In fact, I just arrived in Colorado (my final destination) today! I made a bunch of exciting GF finds that I cannot wait to share next week, including Dempsey Bakery in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Since it is Friday, I wanted to be sure to share how I’m celebrating with my Fiesta Friday friends. This week, I’m not bringing a treat, but instead a scrapbook of images and some favorite radio stations from my road trip. Feel free to take a look, and of course, share your favorite road trip destinations or finds as well.

Happy Cooking, Travels, and More!

    1. Thanks! The Old Mill is in the opening credits! It’s also believed to be the last standing structure from the film. Crazy the things you find in Arkansas! Thanks for hosting as always. 🙂

    1. Such a good song! He played “It Goes Like This,” “Make Me Wanna,” and “Get Me Some of That.” My favorite song off of his album (for the music more than the lyrics) is “All-American Middle Class White Boy,” even though it will never be popular. 🙂

  1. Looks like you’ve had an exciting trip! Wonderful photos, I’ve been to quite a few of those places! 🙂

      1. Well I grew up in NY, so I had been to Hershey Park on many occasions. I have since relocated to KY, so I’ve seen the Marshall monument and have been to Louisville. I can remember taking trips to TN as a child, as well. I’m not sure I could settle on just one favorite road trip location! For me, going anywhere that I haven’t previously been is so exciting, they are all favorites! 🙂
